Wildlife Wood Carvings
"I have been carving wildlife sculptures since 1983. I use redwood, myrtlewood, maple, walnut, oak and some exotics. After I bandsaw the shapes of the individual sculptures I then carve them with an electric die grinder and by hand. I hand sand and finish with several coats of clear lacquer. Driftwood or manzanita is used for the bases of the finished pieces."
