"My clay animals are unique in the firing process, either pit-fired or raku-glazed.
After I wash the ashes off,
I can adorn the animals with a
mix of copper wire, madrone, handmade beads and feathers.
When finished, the five elements of life are represented - water, fire, earth, plants, and air."
